Anubhava School Of Music is run by Tara Anand.
The school has been in existence since 1989 in
Framingham, MA.
Carnatic Vocal and Violin lessons are offered at 3 locations.
Tara Anand, the vocalist.......
Tara started learning vocal at the age of 4. She grew up in Delhi
where she has learnt under gurus Sankara Sarma(disciple of Alathur
Brothers), and S. Gopalakrishnan. At the age of 8 she was awarded
the National Merit scholarship by the Government of India, which she
retained for 9 years till her move to Madras. She gave her first
concert at the age of 8 and continued on to perform ever since in
Delhi as well as Madras.
She completed her Masters' degree in music in Delhi and during this
time received advanced training in Pallavis from Prof.
T.R.Subramaniam. She has performed television and radio programs
from a very young age, and continues to perform in the U.S.
Tara Anand, the violinist.....
Tara started learning violin at the age of 8 under the guidance of
Srimathi Vedavalli Ramaswamy, a leading artist in New Delhi. She
performed with her teacher at the age of 12 and soon started
accompanying nationally acclaimed artists . At the age of 14 she
went on an All India tour with Professor T.R. Subramaniam as his
acccompanist.
After her move to Madras she continued training under Smt. T .
Rukmini and had the privilege of performing with her on many
occasions. She has accompanied many artists like Sangeeta Kalanidhi
Smt. R. Vedavalli, Sudha Raghunathan, Nookala Chinnasatyanarayana, Sri. Ravikiran, Malladi Bros., Sri R.K.
Srikantan and many others.

row.
Best junior artist from Krishna Gana Sabha, Madras.
Teacher of the year award from the Cleveland Cultural
Alliance in
2005.
Tara , the teacher........
Tara Anand has been teaching in the Boston area since
1986. She has guided and trained many students over the years,
teaching them vocal and violin in the Carnatic style. Her students
have won many prizes in prestigious competitions across the U.S. Many
have performed debut concerts at a young age. She believes in
inculcating in them, not only a love for Carnatic music, but also
respect for the art and artists.
